Tall Corn Towers
Multi-Family Housing  | New Construction

Demolition began on this 8 story historical building in January 2013 and construction was completed April of 2014. The interior corridor hallways and ceramic tile in-lays remained due to the historical nature, but all remaining walls and ceilings were demolished to make way for 49 new multifamily units on floors 2 – 8. Interior unit finishes consisted of concrete floors, painted millwork, wood doors and cabinets, plastic laminate countertops, elevator upgrades, energy star electrical fixtures and high efficiency mechanical units. The main floor is reserved for commercial space while the basement was re-configured into offices, a community room, fitness room, craft room, library, computer lab and a laundry for the residents above.

Exterior upgrades included tuckpointing of the existing brick veneer, window refurbishment, historical fire escape modifications, roofing, limestone repair / replacement, wood storefront, sidewalks, parking lot asphalt mill and overlay, concrete curbs, and entry canopy upgrades.
