About Us
President and CEO Chris Zuspann began his career with Frerichs Construction in 1993 as an Estimator and Assistant Project Manager. Since 2013, he has led the company alongside Vice President Chad Olson, who joined Frerichs in 1996 and advanced through the same roles before stepping into his leadership position.
Under Chris and Chad’s guidance, Frerichs Construction continues to grow, evolve, and strengthen its presence in the communities we serve. We are a community‑driven company, proud of our work, our families, and the neighborhoods that support us.
What Sets Us Apart?
Many general contractors advertise “quality work” and “competitive rates”—it’s the language of marketing. But the real question is whether they truly deliver on those promises. In our industry, most project issues stem from human factors: slow communication, missed details, and a lack of thoughtful planning. So what drives those behaviors?
At Frerichs Construction, we believe that “walking the talk” starts with instilling our core values in every employee. Customer satisfaction sits at the top of that list—no business can thrive without it. Honesty stands right beside it. A company’s culture is reflected in the attitudes of its people, and those attitudes are shaped by the leaders who guide them.
Over the years, we’ve built a culture unlike any other in construction. Our team thrives on collaboration, purpose, and a shared commitment to excellence. The energy within Frerichs is hard to describe—positive, focused, and united. Everyone is moving in the same direction, and that momentum shows in everything we do.
So what does this have to do with construction? Everything. Excellence requires continuous training. Just like an athlete preparing for race day, the real work happens long before the starting line. The results speak for themselves. At Frerichs, we train, support, and empower our team so that when race day arrives—your project—we’re ready to deliver our very best.
